The Biden administration is looking into the steps it can take to provide student debt relief through executive action, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said Thursday.
If it finds a way to cancel some portion of the $1.5 trillion in federal student debt, it can lift burdens off 43 million Americans who owe it, reported The Washington Post. This comes even after the administration called on Congress to pass legislation to help student debt borrowers and their families.

Pres. Biden sends Congress Immigration Bill
Pres. Joe Biden is sending the U.S. Congress a new immigration bill that will lead citizenship to over 11 million people living illegally in the country. He sent the bill after he was inaugurated as the 46th President in the country yesterday, Wednesday.
According to Newsmax, the proposed bill will overhaul the immigration policies set by the previous administration that limits processing immigration applications and bans some nations to get inside the country.
