U.S. Representative Rodney Davis (R-Ill.) released the following statement after Democrats in the U.S. House voted on a party line basis to approve Congressional Democratsâ partisan stimulus bill:
âIâm disappointed that President Biden and my Democratic colleagues in Congress co-opted the need for additional COVID-19 relief and used it to push their own political priorities totally unrelated to the pandemic. You know spending isnât pandemic-related when Democrats tout this legislation as âthe most progressive domestic legislation in a generation.â The American people donât need âprogressiveâ legislation.
