DEPARTMENT of Public Works Secretary James A. Ada on Monday issued a notice to proceed to Hawaiian Rock Products general manager David L. Bush regarding the Route 35 â Tun Herman Pan Road or Airport Road âimprovement project.
âThe contract performance time is 240 calendar days to complete the road improvements based on the scope of work developed under the DPQ21-IFB-003 package, Ada said.
The completion date is Jan. 4, 2022, the notice added.
Any additional work not included in the original contract scope must be approved by the DPW secretary through an authorized contract change order prior to commencement of the work.
âDo not rely on any other form of verbal written approval to perform any additional work,â Ada said. âAny and all expenses incurred prior to the approval of a properly executed contract change order may not be eligible for reimbursements.â
