The Whiskey Treaty Roadshow livestream concert to benefit Berkshire hungry

It’s a three-way musical attack on hunger in the Berkshires. With the coronavirus pandemic stifling commerce and concerts, local band The Whiskey Treaty Roadshow wants to help those hardest hit by livestreaming a concert, album recording session and movie production (all at the same time) to benefit a program that provides food to the hungry. “We’re really proud to lend a hand with that,” frontman Billy Keane said. “The service workers have done their part, so, we want to focus some energy back into the community.” Justin Allen The event begins at 7 p.m. Saturday for free on the band’s website. The hope is that most viewers will hit the donate button.

Whiskey Treaty Announces Benefit Show for Service Industry We re huge fans of The Whiskey Treaty Roadshow here at Live 95.9, so we re thrilled to find out about their latest project. Coming up Saturday, Jan 30, The Treaty is back at it, live-streaming a video performance of seven of the band s favorite cover songs, a project that has been in the works for quite some time, the band said on social media. The band will be recording and filming the production, called Recovered , in support of the Berkshire Community Action Council and their Service Workers Safety Net Program. The band has a goal of raising $10,000 between now and the end of the month, all of which will go to BCAC and their incredible support of Berkshire County s own service workers.
