ORLANDO, FL The theme of the Southeast Produce Council's 2023 Southern Exposure conference and trade show was "Produce, the final frontier," inspired by the popular "Star Trek" television shows and movies. And after talking with SEPC executives, exhibitors, sponsors and attendees, their impression of the event, held here March 2-4, may be summed up in two words: mission accomplished.
The fresh produce industry will be beaming up to Orlando, FL, the first weekend in March to attend Southern Exposure, the Southeast Produce Council’s annual conference and trade show.
The Southeast Produce Council has named Faye Westfall, a longtime member of the fresh produce industry who has been directly involved with the council since its earliest days, to the SEPC board of governors.
The Southeast Produce Council has announced that students wishing to apply for the council's Vorhees Vision Scholarship may do so beginning Nov. 28. The application can only be submitted online through a link that will be provided by the council beginning on that date.
