we re learning new details about an early morning stabbing in falls township. it happened inside a home on the 6200 block of foster drive. police say a 59-year-old man is dead and his former girlfriend severely injured and in the hospital. annie mccormick is live at the scene where detectives are sorting out what happened. reporter: sarah, police are not releasing the name of the woman involved. she also in the hospital with severe, but not non-life threatening injuries. you can see the crime scene and the cones marking evidence along with a blood trail. at this hour police are working to figure out the details of what appears to be a deadly domestic dispute. a 911 call brought police to this mobile home park after 4:00 a.m. in they discovered a woman bleeding on the roadway with stab wounds several feet from her home. inside the home they discovered david mathis with a stab wound to the neck. they were believed to be a couple. investigators believe they recently broke up.
