A new 50p commemorative coin struck to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy features Allied soldiers storming from the beaches with aircraft overhead
It was designed by David Lawrence with support from Imperial War Museums and depicts Allied soldiers disembarking a landing craft on to the beaches of Normandy.
