The shooting happened outside a home located on Country Road 984, according to the Facebook post.
Rivera stated on the post, the victim, identified as 26-year-old Robert Leija, went to the suspect s house with the intentions on seeing his daughter.
The suspect, identified as 28-year-old David Chapa, Jr., had gotten into an argument with Leija before Leija was shot, Rivera stated.
Chapa was arrested on scene and is now facing murder charges, Rivera said. The investigation is ongoing.
