Much of Wednesday’s storm damage in the Temple area was caused by two separate tornadoes that struck the city miles apart, the National Weather Service in Fort Worth said Friday.
The NWS Fort Worth office issued a flood warning for McLennan, Bell and surrounding counties until early Friday, citing chances of 2 to 3 inches of rain in some areas.
An overnight thunderstorm brought an inch of rain to the Killeen-Fort Cavazos area early Monday morning but forecasters said conditions will dry out by the afternoon.
