DAVAO DEL NORTE, Jan. 11 (PIA) – Davao del Norte 1st District Congressman Pantaleon D. Alvarez led the launching of the Voters’ Education Advocacy on Jan. 10 at the New City Hall Atrium in Tagum City.
In his speech at the event, Alvarez said people should look for the qualities of competence, heart, courage and conviction when choosing the next leaders.
He said that the next leader must know how to bring back the economy, and he must know how to open the businesses again for people to have livelihood.
Aside from intelligence, he added that people must also look for a leader who has heart and compassion for the people especially the poor; one who can feel their suffering.
