there are some differences and some similarities. my overall goals for my short presentation is i m going to define teen dating violence and the prevalence and talk a little bit what we have learned through our grant programs over the years and to tell you about funding opportunities, once again funding, was mentioned earlier. teen dating violence is defined as physical, sexual and sikecoling call emotional violence within an intimate partner relationship. it is a pattern of abuse, behaviors used tore, i want to say exert power and control over a dating partner. it may occur between a current or former dating partner. there are a number of types of abuse. there s the physical abuse. there s emotional abuse, things like name calling, yelling, bullying, embarrassing, keeping you away from your friends. sexual abuse is similar to forcing you to do something sexual, especially speaking from the youth perspective, kissing and touching and things of that nature. we also have stalki
