Croydon councillors have rejected plans for a 29-storey tower by FourFourSixSix, despite a recommendation for approval by planners
The Horizon One tower was proposed for a site on Croydon’s High Street and would have provided 121 dual-aspect flats, including 30 per cent designated ‘affordable’, as well as 1,200m
2 of flexible commercial and retail space in a three-storey podium.

Clerkenwell-based Fourfoursixsix said the brick-clad podium was conceived as a ‘street building’, while the tower – which was separated by a glazed amenity level – related to the wider emerging Croydon skyline.
