With the Dutch online gaming market set to launch October 1, the Netherlands Online Gaming Association (NOGA) has announced LeoVegas as its latest member.
LeoVegas applied for consideration and was approved on May 31, becoming the association’s youngest member.
NOGA aims to represent a large majority of online gambling providers that will become active with the launch of the new market.
The trade association says it is important for operators to join, to ensure there will be robust consumer protection, responsible gaming and a level playing field on October 1.
By “joining forces,” the Dutch gambling industry can make its online market a success story according to NOGA.

According to the regulator, the company is considered to have been in breach of certain customer due diligence routines with respect to its Swedish customers, during the first year of the Swedish market being regulated (2019).
