Maybe actually get something done hallelujah i got to tell you thats how i felt when i interviewed nancy pelosi, leader of the Democrat Party about how she looks at things for now you should know shes hoping for constructive dialogue between democrats, republicans, including the president which is something i pretty much had written off as impossible. [ buzzer ] now before i go into what i heard remember that despite todays sedate action, dow inching up 34 point, s p advancing 2. 6, nasdaq gaining 0. 40 we are on the cusp of an incredibly important fed meeting. The guys that keep buying on tech news like we got today. Im concerned about the fed meeting. The house of pain President Trump is out the

Stocks because i base my work on the companies i study and not the shape of the carts the off of charts is to my traditional stock picking methods but i know from your feedback jimcramer on twitter youre interested and proven itself time and time again to get a lot of people involved at the right level, say not for a minute as i explain in get rich carefully where i devote a whole chapter to charting have i become a chartest myself . I highlight and teach after stu studying the sectors and over lay them on my broader world view at the moment charters could careless about this stuff they dont care what the company does i wonder if they could do their jobs with the companys names blacked out. In fact, i am sure they could. Some of them hate the distraction of knowing for fear would bias them against the stocks chart. Can you imagine . Ive become proficient at charting over the years but rely on the individual work of professional technicians to demonstrate how to use charting and learn t

Today the dow lost 109 point thes. Nasdaq only dipped 0. 08 . Bond yields short and long are headed the wrong way, meaning higher. Different stocks always march to the beat of higher rates, march down that is. The markets over bought, we got some new supply coming. Including a gigantic one that was supposed to be red hot, siz sizzling. It seems to be cooling rather rapidly. It doesnt thaep help that we h looming strike against one or all of the big three automakers. Oil prices continue to climb higher. All bad. No wonder people want to sell. It actually makes sense. I made all these worries kcrystl clear to the cnbc investing club. We know Interest Rates always marrie matter and we fear the ipo market unleashing the dogs of excess supply. The thing about this market is it does have a selfcorrecting nature to it. As soon as you point out something negative it immediately does get hammered. For example, when i mulled over the ipo sale this weekend by the once legendary softbank i had a v

Nasdaq edged down. 26 , the star of the show was the Dow Jones Industrial average, which briefly crossed above 40,000. Hallelujah before pulling back a bit and closing down 39 points. Still, thats a huge leap from where we arrived at dow 30,000 back in november of 2020. So you know what . I think its worth exploring what stocks got us here and why. During this period weve constantly been told that tech is the market leader. But when i look at the top ten stocks up the most during dows trip from 30,000 to 40,000 very surprising group. Only two of them from tech. We also were told Interest Rates is all that matters but thats played a smaller role than expected too. Only the tenth stock really impacted. Instead its an odd grouping where the main thing these companies have in common is very strong exceptional management. Lets run them down so we can learn what the market really wants here. I need you to think about this even though we didnt close above 40,000, this is what matters. First i
