Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–Tuesday night began the final stretch of the regular season, as Scott City played host to the Hays High Indians at the Scott Community Event Center. It would be a night that the visitors from Hays would pick up a couple of road wins, as the Lady Indians got a 38-33 win, while the Indian boys pulled away in the fourth quarter for a 57-35 victory.

Hays would never trail in the game, despite being tied twice in the fourth quarter. The Lady Indians jumped out to a 7-0 lead, and led 9-4 after the first eight minutes. Scott City pulled to within 10-8 early in the second frame, before Hays went on an 11-5 run to lead 21-13 with 2:44 left in the first half.
