Uc berkeley says a student has tested positive for covid19. The university believes no one is at a significant risk of contracting the illness from the infected individual. Here in maryland fire crews responded to the scene of a two alarm fire in aspen hill that started in the lower floor of an Apartment Building. Were told dozens of people have been evacuated from that building along georgia avenue. About six to eight units in all were affected. Right now no word on any injuries. In fredericksburg, virginia, this morning, charges are pending against a man accused of shooting and killing his wife. He then led authorities on a high speed chase even shooting at police as they attempted to pull him over. Now, police say his bullets narrowly missed two officers. The chase ended on i95 when the suspects vehicle crashed into a guardrail and flipped. Its a hot one out there. Well still hit 90 after that rain. Thats what it looks like. Its official our third heat wave of the year. 93 on tuesday. 93 for the high yesterday and we made it to 90 today before those storms. The rain has moved out. The humidity will be dropping tomorrow, but as we go hour by hour look at the temperatures 85 degrees by 11 00. Were looking at 88 at 1 00 p. M. And a High Temperature tomorrow of 91 so that third heat wave will likely be extended into tomorrow. The culprit with the showers and thunderstorms that cold front were not dropping the temperatures but we saw a line of heavy showers and thunderstorms move through the area in particular the heaviest rain right along the immediate i95 corridor.
