Gamroth said before they voted that he opposed the addition of dock-less electronic scooters into the city because there wasn t a problem the scooters would solve, and that because they have not looked into the scooters enough, they might introduce problems into the good year the city is having. Vice Mayor Ray Pacheco said he feels at future meetings when they receive public comment pertaining to the changes, the council can iron out any issues that people may have with scooters.

Excellus BlueCross BlueShield profit drops 43% in 2020; See how much it paid top execs Updated Feb 26, 2021; The financial results are from a report Excellus filed today with the state. “No one has ever faced a year like 2020,” Excellus CEO Christopher Booth said in a prepared statement. “The Covid-19 crisis required a strong and comprehensive response to assure our members were able to receive the care they needed and to help assure the health care system itself would survive. The pandemic devastated the economy and sickened tens of thousands of upstate residents.” Excellus paid Booth $3.25 million, up from $3.21 million in 2019. It paid 130 employees more than $200,000.
