국정농단 사건으로 징역 2년6개월을 확정받고 복역 중인 이재용 삼성전자 부회장이 26일로 형기의 60%를 채운다. 박범계 법무부장관이 완화한 가석방 심사기준을 충족하는 복역률이다.
25일 법조계에 따르면 이 부회장은 올해 1월 국정농단 파기환송심에서 뇌물공여 등 혐의로 징역 2년6개월을 선고받고 법정구속됐다. 수사 초기인 2017년 2월 구속돼 이듬해 2월까지 서울구치소에 수감된 기간을 포함하면 이달 26일이 형기의 60%를 채우는 날이 된다.
