This year saw 11 storefronts filled in downtown Aurora plus two that joined existing tenants. Of the 13 businesses, eight are new, four relocated, and one reopened.
On Sept. 2, First Fridays will feature Nuna Ceramics grand opening at 77 S. Lake St. and The Cotton Seed Creative Exchange s local hip hop art show at 64 S. River St.
The festivals are still going full speed ahead, including Palatine Street Fest, Glen Ellyn Festival of the Arts, West Chicago Food Festival, Brookfield Zoo s Zoo Brew and many more.
