actually the national council really focuses on consumer fireworks, but i don t think this is very common. i know the public displays very specific requirements or distance from the shoot site to the audience wind speed, wind direction. i don t think this is very common. there is a recent report from the consumer product safety commission saying that eye injuries caused by fireworks have doubled from just three years ago. 1300 last year compared to 600 in 2011. what do you think, do you think this is more for firework operators, crowd goers or for both? well, i think it should be for both. you know if the wind happens to shift and debris falls on the crowd, that could be a chance for debris to get into your eye. for consumer fireworks, we always suggest that the person lighting the fireworks wear eye
the crowd around them? they have to take a fair amount of discipline to just stay focused on each other or, you know, a point on the wall or whatever, do you see them at all reacting to the crowd goers? not at all. it s really disciplined. it s just they must be in some crazy zone where they just stare at each other or at a point. it s probably very zen, i would imagine. all right. well, thank you very much for your insights and for giving us your report from having been there, director of the art. thank you. new this morning, reports of a royal wedding in the works. the british newspaper people says secret marriage plans have been drawn up. citing sources, the paper says the wedding will take place in august of 2011 at westminster abb abbey. so far no word from the royal family.
