What we see from so many areas of the right in america now is trying to get people into a kind of survivalist mode. it s our way or the apocalypse. so when the speaker says what are you going to do about it, this is baiting people, right. and so we see it from retired military who start talking about our nation s in peril and this is kind of crew talk. right. every crew i ve studied and a third of my book they were all justified in saving a nation. so getting people to buy into the idea of violence and especially assigning violence of patriotic value that you are a patriot if you re going to do anything necessary to save the nation, it s part of this.
