It s nice to be off crutches and get around on my own steam. i knew you were busy then, flying around, doing events for a big documentary you were reporting. what was it like then? were you in a lot of pain? i was never in any pain except the day after surgery. really, even when i heard my ligament pop and i could feel it through the body, it never hurt. i was not in pain. i didn t take pain medication except a day or two after surgery. that was good. it was very uncomfortable to lie down. hard to sleep. i was never in raging pain. it s been consistent. once i got through the surgery, it aches, crampy, but doesn t really hurt. you e-mailed me soon after the surgery for free medical advise. yes. i think that s why i was
