Today president obama tries toally congressional support for the strike on syria. He will meet with key senators including john mccain who has urged the president to take a stance. It has now been 48 hours since he said that he needed congressional attack plans. The white house has been at odds with congress for much of the presidency. Dudo you get a sense that they will be on board and will they sign off on plans to attack syria. Reporter congress has been a difficult problem at best for the white house, and senator mccain has been critical. He has been skeptical of the president s strategy and called for a mo more robust set of pla, and that missiles strikes would be just a pinprick.
