The boyfriend of a Carroll County School District substitute teacher who faced multiple child molestation charges has been acquitted, the Coweta County District Attorney's Office confirmed.
A group of parents filed a lawsuit against the Coweta County School District and the principal of Elm Street Elementary over a failure to report the alleged abuse.
Paulding County and Cherokee County have both punted case against Jason Benson. Multiple women have said he assaulted and stalked them. He says he's falsely accused.
