Detectives from Hawai‘i Police Department’s Unsolved Homicides Unit received new information from witnesses regarding an unknown man who was seen arguing with 26-year-old Lynn Ebisuzaki some time prior to her death in May 1987 at a church in the 1800 block of Kino‘ole Street.
The large affray that resulted in three male teens being assaulted while they sat in a vehicle at the Big Island beach park might have been the result of mistaken identity following a separate fight that occurred earlier in another section of the park.
