A Yatton mum has hit out at rotten and mouldy food from a controversial supplier of free school meals.
Kerry Elson has been collecting two Chartwells food boxes from Claverham s Court de Wyck Church School each week.
The mum-of-four, who has two children at the school, described the food in the parcels as disgraceful , saying 90 per cent of it gets thrown away as soon as I get home .
Compass, which owns Chartwells, apologised for the quality and quantity of food in its parcels after a public outcry last month.
