The City Council is considering taking a more ceremonial approach to denounce atrocities in the Israel-Hamas war even after residents pleaded for approval of a cease-fire resolution.
Council members didn t respond Monday to those who emotionally argued for a resolution supporting a cease-fire in Palestine and Israel because it is a local issue.
