Berkeley residents living in District 7 have a new city council representative in Cecilia Lunaparra, whose victory in an election of fewer than 500 votes was certified Friday.
Both Cecilia Lunaparra and James Chang are staunch advocates of investing in climate initiatives, and want the public, especially students, to have better access to city services and their leaders.
On April 16, eligible voters in Berkeley’s District 7 will be able to cast their vote to elect a new District 7 City Council member in the upcoming special election.
