Community members and city employees are speaking out in support of Carthage Mayor Dan Rife and City Administrator Greg Dagnan. Earlier this month Carthage City Council made a vote of "no confidence" in Rife and also voted to dismiss Dagnan.
Councilor Rory Hammond said the plan was a result of conflict with a local newspaper, but editor Chantelle Meyer shared their side of the story, as well.
