the procedure likely done before the extent was an angiogram where you re injected dye and looking for blockages. if there had been several arteries that had blockages, at that point the medical team has a decision to make. do we go ahead and do what s called a coronary bypass operation. that s open heart surgery where you re bypassing those vessels. he didn t have that done which suggests there wasn t some broader disease vessels around his heart. there was one. it required two stents. that s what we re hearing. we still don t know is how
