i m dana perino. this is america s newsroom. it was a great weekend but there was a lot of news and a lot of troubling news as well across the board. we ll have it all for you this hour. border patrol records show nearly two dozen known or suspected terrorists were caught at the sourn border last year. that s a small snapshot of the surge. bill: border agents encountered more than 221,000 migrants in the month of march alone. a 24% increase from last year. the most encounters in any month since february of 2000. dana: half of them were expelled under the title 42 border policy it allowed them to turn away over a million migrants during the pandemic but it is set to expire next month. they project up the 18,000 migrants will try to cross the border every day. bill: a grow list of of democrats. texas democrat henry cuellar. he can t say we have a public health issue here and say everything is is fine at t border and then lift the title 42, which is the health order. 2
