When we think of this period as demonstrations in the street, that was really important here, was that leading u. S. Senators were citing with the anti war faction. And the amendment to end the war, was appealing to the public. And doing that at the very cruel and rational, thoughtful way. And that was a very important moment for the Anti War Movement. And it wasnt just in the streets, it was in the senate as well. You hadnt seen this before, whats your impressions, your first reactions . Just a tone of this thing . Its a very serious peace. These are very earnest man, who are both republican and democrat, moderates and liberal. People who have come to the conclusion, that the United States should not be siding in this war.
