The number of inpatients in hospitals and those in ICUs saw a decline in the past 24 hours. Still there is no reprieve from the daily deaths from Covid-19.
While 76 new patients were admitted to hospitals across the country, the number of inpatients dropped below 700 to 693. Those in intensive care units dropped to 244.
The Ministry of Health announced 812 new cases of Covid-19 and 13 deaths on Tuesday. Of these, 390 cases and two deaths were reported from Muscat, and 99 were from North Al Batinah. South Al Sharqiyah accounted for four deaths on Tuesday.
