Greenway Conservancy 7th annual Chinese Zodiac Public Art Installation

The Herald News BOSTON – The Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy announces the commission and upcoming installation of a new public artwork, The Herd, from local artist Andy Li, continuing the annual curation of sculptural installations celebrating the 12 years of the Chinese Zodiac in Auntie Kay and Uncle Frank Chin Park on The Greenway. The Herd, Andy Li’s text and fiber-based installation, reflects on the Year of The Ox by channeling its most prominent zodiac attributes and the Ox’s ethic of perseverance. Li is creating a series of artistic text banners, each containing a different inspirational message, such as “Where There s a Will There s a Way,” in both English and Mandarin.
