They secured their weapons and firearm and ammunition inside their patrol vehicle, either in the truck or back into a safe location. Then they proceed to bring the suspect into the facility. Reporter investigators believe castro was still cuffed from behind when he got a hold of the officers weapon. He did managed to somehow access the rear compartment, the rear storage area. The details and specifics are still under investigation and we are speaking with the officer. The officer did attempt to restrain and stop the suspect s going on.
