Maine Bureau of Parks and Land representatives told Franklin County commissioners in August they would help repair storm damaged roads to Tumbledown Mountain trailheads.
Franklin County road agent Mike Pond would like to see a plan of what the Maine Bureau of Parks and Land wants to do and to see if the two 18-inch culverts are big enough to handle the water.
"We can do just fine all by ourselves," Selectperson Mike Wells said before voting to join Eustis and other towns in opposition to a national wildlife refuge in the High Peaks region.
