That can be done as part of this program. It was no consideration of this. It spells out demolition requirement. Whats the point of that. We can build luxury condos and we can do soft story we dont require demolition but for Affordable Housing which i believe in, we have to demolish. Thats really an interesting point of view. I dont agree with it. Let me point out a couple of things. I have a soft story list of actually counted 256. Theres about 50 of those sites that only have a block and lot number no educator i couldnt find it on the Planning Department maps. I live in the inner sunset and grew up near cole street when i was a kid. I went over to one side of 929 street. It consists of pharma, finnegans wake and a restaurant. Three wellestablished, rooted in the community businesses. If that building goes, that whole block is going to go. I talked to each of the owners. Theyre not at all happy about this prospect.
