This legislation would amend the Communications Act, fines and penalties for caller id spoofing when a caller deliberately disguises their true identity behind a false caller id information. Forfeiture and fines would increase. I want to thank senator collins, peter, sinema and warnock for their work on this important issue. The bill would allow scientists engineers and others in the private sector ak demmia to weather and climate modelling. This legislation would require no public or open source the code and data used in these models and would include exemptions for models that would pose a risk to national security, trade secrets or that violate intellectual property contracts. Now, i think we can all agree it certainly hasnt been easy, but our constituents didnt send us here to the capital to solve easy problems or take the easy way out.
