Four injured in weekend accident
Four individuals were transported to Columbus Regional Hospital following a traffic accident in Columbus on Saturday afternoon.
At approximately 11:34 a.m., Bartholomew County Sheriff’s deputies, along with Columbus Regional Hospital EMS, Columbus Township Fire Department and Indiana State Police, responded to a traffic accident with injury at the intersection of State Road 7 and U.S. 31.
On arrival, deputies located two vehicles involved.
Four individuals, Matthew Ditsworth, 40, Indianapolis, Earl Caudill, 51, Dupont, Sherry Caudill, 45, Dupont, and a juvenile male were transported to CRH.
The investigation is ongoing, deputies said.

COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO), Columbus Regional Hospital (CRH) EMS, Columbus Township Fire Department, and Indiana State Police, responded to a traffic accident at the intersection of State Road 7 and US 31 late Saturday morning.
Upon arrival at around 11:30 a.m., deputies discovered that there were two vehicles involved in the wreck. Matthew Ditsworth, 40, of Indianapolis, a juvenile male, Earl Caudill, 51, of Dupont, and Sherry Caudill, 45, of Dupont, were taken to CRH for treatment of injuries.
