Well, with two cash cows like the team and NESN having a rough 2020, and a likely rougher 2021, it makes sense to add investors; cash flow is king. And the other elements (soccer team, racing) are still pretty strong. And Henry/Werner really don’t care about a man’s politics; flash enough green and Kim Jung Un can join the party.

All pro sports are heading to streaming, Bob. They can charge less money hoping to get more customers (customers are cord cutting – non-sports fans won’t play cable charges that include sports, they want a la cart menus). Silicon Valley companies are putting out better canned programs then the TV networks. Cable and regular TV depend on live events – primarily sports – to survive. They are both about to implode, and financial people know it.
