Manuel Chosen To Coach SFCC Shooting Team
State Fair Community College has named Sarah Manuel as the first Head Coach of the Clay Target Shooting Team.
The college expanded their athletics program with the addition of the target shooting team in Sedalia and the Lake of the Ozarks, The team will begin competition during the 2021-2022 academic year at SFCC.
“I welcome the challenge in starting a program from scratch and building a rich history behind our college,” said Manuel. “Prospective athletes are hungry for a sport like this because there aren’t many opportunities to continue beyond high school and we hope to provide them with a venue to continue and hone their skills as target shooters.
