Santa Clara Valley Medical Center warned if current friends with hospitalizations continue, they could run out of space and especially icu beds by the middle of the month. Santa clara county headlight official say hospitals in the southern and eastern parts of the county are at 94 capacity and everywhere else is 84 . We are especially concerned because none of the hospitals serving south countyeast san oshea had more than 5icu beds available. The hospital with the hardist hit communities have the least a beds. Reporter they are coordinating to transfer to other hospitals. They are postponing elective surgery to make sure theres enough bed space available. Sanford health care said they are carefully managing capacity and they say they do is a plan to modify schedules in case they need to make room for more patients.
