A pharmacy in Long Melford is today joining the campaign to vaccinate the Suffolk population against Covid-19 - making it the third chemist to offer the jab.
The Pharmacy in Long Melford, which is located in the High Street, will join the two existing community pharmacy sites that went live with vaccinations on Thursday, January 21 - Aqua Pharmacy in Duke Street, Ipswich, and Hayden Chemists in Bridge Road, Lowestoft.
This brings the total number of Covid-19 vaccination sites in Suffolk to 25, comprising three large vaccination sites, 19 primary care network (PCN) hubs and three community pharmacies.

New vaccination centres are set to open in Suffolk and north Essex this week.
It has been confirmed that the former Riverwalk School in Bury St Edmunds, Colchester United s JobServe Community stadium, Clacton Hospital and Chelmsford City Race Course are all set to become large vaccination centres.
Each will be able to inject hundreds of people to help grow the vaccination programme as more supplies become available.
The new centres follow the opening of a site at Gainsborough Sports Centre in Ipswich, which began vaccinations last week.
THE Cliffs Pavilion is to become a Covid-19 vaccination centre, it was revealed today. The theatre, in Station Road, Westcliff, is one of six new vaccination hubs announced today, including Chelmsford City Racecourse and Colchester United Football Club. The new centres are among a series opening nationally this week as the NHS rapidly accelerates the number of sites it can give the crucial first dose of the vaccine. Each of the centres can vaccinate hundreds of people a day and thousands of people each week, enabling the programme to ramp up as more vaccine supplies become available. People in the top four priority groups including people aged 70 years old and over, and those who are clinically extremely vulnerable, will be invited to book an appointment at the vaccination centres through the national booking service.
