Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK president M K Stalin announced that the INDI alliance will deliver a "sweet victory" on June 4. Stalin was surprised to receive Mysore Pak from Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during his visit to the state. Gandhi was seen jumping over a road divider and walking towards a sweet shop to purchase the gift.
BJP state president K Annamalai has pledged to establish an IIM, units of NIA and NCB in Coimbatore, promising to work for 100 assurances in 500 days. He also promised to establish Navodaya schools, address Noyyal and Kousika river issues, and introduce mobile food vans named after K Kamaraj. He also promised to upgrade the airport as an international terminal and establish a cancer treatment center.
