Police are investigating a deadly shooting, it happened near monterey road and evening view drive before 1 40 this morning. Police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. They say he died a short time later. His identity has not been released and police have not arrested any suspects. The shooting is san joses 23rd homicide of the year. Developing news out of oakland, police are investigating after a 13yearold girl was shot. Our media partner, the oakland tribune reports the shooting around 9 15 last night outside of a liquor store on foothill boulevard. Police say the girl was inside the store buying candy when shots were fired. She was taken to the hospital in stable condition. No arrests have been made there. At least 40 people are recovering after being injured in two separate accidents involving muni. They happened yesterday within minutes of each othe
A city gardener accused of running over a woman in a park has been arrested for leaving the scene of a collision with a bicycle. Prosecutors have yet to decide whether to pursue this case but the 19yearold was booked on a hit and run charge. We are live with the story in the Outer Mission neighborhood. Accord owing Police Jonathan bernowski hit the bicyclist as he was making a right turn. The 19yearold did not stop. Police say it happened yesterday afternoon, shortly after he left the courtroom where his father was being arraigned investigators say the 19yearold hit a bicyclist the person was not badly injured. He lives about a mile from where the accident occurred followed by a witness who then called police. He was arrestd and booked into the county jail. So far, this is a hit and run case. Is dangling over theeath 280 over highway 101. You can see this big rig right here this, is on connector ramp from 280 to southbound 101. Northbound 101 which runs beneath is closed now as a result. There are incredible traffic back ups in this area. Looks like a movie. Dangling like that. No word on how this happened but we know the driver is okay. And was standing by the trk not too long ago but he got the scare of his life. The resulting traffic is just enormous. You can see just a moment ago there is a forklift there. That is the load th truck was carrying. Sky sevenontinues to pull wider, you can see lanes beneath the overpass. Traffic is stopped. There is concern this could fall beneath. Yes.
