The Bishop of Assisi Handing a Palm to Saint Clare (Wixom, Boehm, Metropolitan Museum of Art 155) is a painting by an unknown artist that worked in a workshop. Originally it was painted in Germany, Nuremberg during 1360 to 1370. During the Middles Ages paintings were put into the Cloisters Collection (Holds art, books and sculptures from the Medieval Ages) and this painting was one of them. The highlight of the painting shows Saint Clare being handed a palm tree by Saint Francis. The Monasticism is holding large scissors. Also, a book and golden bowl are on top of the white cloth. In the background, there is a pattern drawn. Although the painting has no named artist this artist did an exceptional job in showing the elements and principles of
