LOCK HAVEN March is Women’s History Month. For the month of March, the Ross Library will be featuring “Votes For Women: A Portrait of Persistence,” a poster exhibition about women achieving the right to vote. This display will be available twenty-four hours a day, viewable in the windows of the lobby. Visitors are encouraged to come at any time and see the posters, learning about the struggle for equality. This program is sponsored by the Smithsonian Institution.
The first week of March is “Will Eisner Week,” honoring the talented artist. To celebrate the Ross Library will be handing out adult coloring pages! Coloring pages for Will Eisner’s most famous character, The Spirit, will be available in the lobby for pickup, or can be included with book orders by request! Three different pages are available, and each order comes with a small box of 24 crayons!
