By Musa Baba Adamu The immediate past Governor of Bayelsa State, Seriake Dickson and newly sworn in Senator for Lagos East, Adetokunbo Abiru, have unfolded their legislative agenda for their constituents and Nigeria generally. This is as two other newly elected Senators, Cleopas Moses (PDP Bayelsa Central) and Professor Nora Ladi Dadu’ut (APC Plateau South), were also sworn in yesterday. Speaking to journalists separately after taking their oaths of office and allegiance, Senators Dickson and Abiru said collaboration with other federal lawmakers in finding lasting solutions to the problem of insecurity in the country is the number one item on their legislative agenda.

Senate President swears in Dickson, Abiru, other senators-elect Sunday Aborisade, Abuja President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, on Tuesday, swore in a former governor of Bayelsa State, Seriake Dickson, to represent Bayelsa West Senatorial District in the National Assembly.
