hold in my hand is claire esther davis. claire is 17 years of age. and she is a senior at arapahoe high school. before i read the statement, i will tell you that i ve learned a great deal about claire over the last several hours. and i know that claire davis is a young woman of principle. she s a young woman of purpose. she is an innocent young lady, and she was an innocent victim of an evil act of violence. i would now like to read to you the statement from the family of claire davis. our beautiful daughter, claire davis, has severe head trauma as a result of a gunshot.
