The 2021 McDonald s Fiji Coral Coast Sevens will be held later next year as the organising committee are currently in consultation with key tournament sponsors on the best option for the 11th installment of the event.
The committee says they were fortunate to stage this year’s event in January before the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown global sports in March.
Chairman of the Coral Coast Sevens tournament Jay Whyte says it is for this reason after lengthy deliberation and discussion, it was agreed that the best way forward was to move the tournament to late 2021.
